Far too many people are just used to the car being the default mode of transportation.  However in closer knit urban and “village style” towns many times it is easier, more convenient, and a heck of a lot more fun to go by bike.  Cars have their place, but if our communities can inspire just a few more people to go by bike, to the market, coffee shop, work, park, or just to grab a beer with friends it can have a powerful effect slowly on our communities we live in.

It probably doesn’t hurt that our Founder runs one of the bigger bicycle social Clubs in San Diego either!   Check out the Urban Bike and Social Club for fun bike inspired social outings monthly http://www.meetup.com/urbanbikeandsocialclub.   Our goal is  to provide multiple loaner bikes and 1 e-cargo bike for our tenants and their friends to utilize.  All easily accessed from our artsy street level dedicated bike parking, made from cool vintage bike frames!  We will share some photos as soon as the bike parking area is finished up in our first community later next month!
